Pailmaster
Pailmaster is a prepaid battery / ballast recycling service that includes a pail that meets all US DOT, US EPA and FedEx requirements, delivery of the pail to your facilities, return of the pail via FedEx Ground, recycling of the materials and a certificate of recycling.

Additional fees will be charged for the following:

Containers weighing over 70lbs.

Shipping lamps, lighting ballast, dry-cell batteries, or mercury, lithium or button cell batteries in the wrong containers.

Including any combination of mercury, lithium or button cell batteries in the dry-cell battery pail.

Shipping shielded lamps in the same box with regular lamps.
-
Shipping material other than lamps, batteries or lighting ballast.
-
Exceeding the maximum quantities of lamps.
Instructions

Remove the enclosed FedEx PRP Shipping Label and attach it to the pail. Keep the FedEx shipper receipt for your records. You will need the number from the receipt to give to FedEx when you schedule the pickup. If you do NOT have a shipping label, please contact Metro Zeal Recycling Systems at 864-541-7998.

Fill the pail with used dry-cell batteries, mercury, lithium or button-cell batteries, or lighting ballast for recycling.
a. DO NOT put materials other than batteries in the battery pail, or lighting ballast in the ballast pail. Batteries and Ballast CAN NOT be combined in the same pail.
b. DO NOT put mercury, lithium or button-cell batteries in the dry-cell battery pail.
c. DO NOT exceed 70 pounds per pail. -
After poly-pail is full, securely attach lid to pail before shipping.

Please be sure that the Red FedEx PRP Shipping Label is attached to the pail. No additional labels or markings are required.

To schedule pick-up of the pail, call 1.888.XXX.XXXX for the FedEx Ground Package Returns Program. The FedEx Representative will request the number from the shipping receipt - XXXXXXX. Remember due to regulations, the poly-pail CAN NOT exceed 70 pounds.
